Before you start
Your panel comes cut to size and ready to install. Before peeling off the protective film, read the full guide.
- Check the panel dimensions and compare them with the wall. If there’s any error, don’t install — let us know.
- Work with the panel resting on a clean surface, away from sharp objects.
- Let the panel and the room reach room temperature (18-25 °C) for at least 12 hours.
Tools you’ll need
- Transparent MS Polymer adhesive (included in some formats — check your order).
- Caulking gun.
- Spirit level.
- Pencil and tape measure.
- Clean cloth + isopropyl alcohol.
- If you’ll be cutting on site: jigsaw with a fine blade or oscillating multi-tool.
Preparing the wall
The panel adheres to almost any firm, clean surface: tile, ceramic, rendered brick, drywall, treated wood. The only things that don’t work are freshly applied emulsion paint (wait 4 weeks) or walls with active moisture.
- Clean the wall with alcohol and let it dry.
- Mark the panel’s final height with a pencil and draw a reference line with the spirit level.
- If the panel runs across an area with sockets, use the cutting template that came with the order and mark them before sticking.
Sticking the panel
- Apply the MS Polymer adhesive in vertical beads 15-20 cm apart on the back of the panel. Reserve a continuous bead around the entire perimeter to seal against moisture.
- Place the panel from the bottom upwards, aligning it with the pencil line.
- Press from the centre outward with a clean cloth to spread the adhesive.
- Check the level. You have 5-10 minutes to adjust before the adhesive starts to cure.
- Wipe any excess adhesive on the edges with the cloth and alcohol before it dries.
Sealing joints
If you’ve installed two adjacent panels or the panel meets a bath/countertop, seal the joint with neutral silicone matching the panel colour. Apply with a caulking gun, smooth with a wet finger, remove the excess.
Curing
The adhesive fully cures in 24-48 hours. During that time:
- Don’t wet the installed area (in wet zones like a shower).
- Don’t force the panel or hang anything from it.
- Keep the room ventilated.
Day-to-day maintenance
- Clean with warm water and neutral soap. A microfibre cloth is enough.
- Avoid: abrasive scourers, chlorinated products (bleach, drain cleaner, strong limescale removers), solvents.
- Matt and gloss finishes clean the same way; matt hides fingerprints better.
Something doesn’t fit?
If at any point during installation you notice something doesn’t add up (size, motif, cut) stop installing. Call us first: once the panel is installed you lose the manufacturing warranty and since the panel is made to order, it can’t be reused.
